Genevieve

I am proud to announce that Genevieve Pamelia Johnson Ruzich was born this morning at 2:33 AM. She weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs., 15+ oz., and she and D-Jo are happy & healthy and resting comfortably:

We're still undecided on what the shortened version of 'Genevieve' will be. D-Jo is leaning toward Viv or Vivvy, and I'm partial to Ginny, although D-Jo suggested P.J. (after the initials of her two middle names) and I like that one a lot. We'll see what fits...

Congrats...best wishes to all involved!!!

I imagine the concerned look on Genevieve's face in that picture is over the Cubs bullpen woes from yesterday. :)

Congratuations to the Ruzich family. She looks beautiful. And though you didn't ask, I vote for P.J.

Beautiful girl and beautiful name. Congratulations, Christian!

(I vote for Viv. I just like how Viv sounds -- but that's me.)

Inquiring minds want to know!

Congrats, poppa.

Thanks, all!

Jen-a-Veev, except when we're in France, of course.
